Lane defense
A lane defense game for phones, playable here in a browser while the phone release is built.
Phones — a web build for testing, until it is out
The horde comes down a bridge toward your wall: zombies by the hundred, runners, giants, shield-bearers and things that explode. When they reach the wall they start tearing at it, and the run is over when it falls.
You do the shooting. One thumb works the gun on the wall, and supply crates come down the bridge inside the horde: break one open for rapid fire, a spread of shot or rounds that go straight through, if you can spare the bullets from whatever is closest to the wall.
It is built for a phone held upright, and the phone release is the real one. The browser build is up so it can be played and argued about while it grows, so expect it to change from one visit to the next. It will come off this page when it is out.
Today it is the whole horde — zombies, runners, brutes, shield-bearers, exploders and a boss — against a gunner who runs the wall or stops to aim into the crowd, crates of powerups and dynamite for the plunger, and everything scrap buys: an auto gun, a flamethrower and a ballista for the wall; a barricade, spikes, a fire pit and mines for the bridge; and a boulder to roll up it. The horde comes in rounds, each ending with its boss and each harder than the last, until the wall falls; how far you got is your score. Between rounds the armoury sells new guns, defences, a stronger wall and longer powerups.
